Skin Boosters are ideal for individuals looking to enhance skin quality naturally, without changing facial shape or structure. Skin boosters are administered through a series of very small injections placed just beneath the surface of the skin using fine needles or specialised injection techniques.

They are particularly effective for areas showing early signs of ageing, dryness, or reduced skin quality.

The treatment works by delivering hyaluronic acid directly into the skin, improving hydration levels from within, stimulating collagen. At JB Academy of Aesthetics we offer a choice of quality products including Skinvive by Allergan Aesthetics which is FDA approved.

Over time, this treatment should improve;

Duration of Treatment : Treatment typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, including consultation, preparation, and the procedure itself.

Aftercare: After Skin Booster treatments, you should avoid the following for 24 to 48 hours; strenuous exercise, excessive facial massage or pressure, alcohol consumption, excessive sun exposure, saunas, steam rooms, or hot baths and applying makeup (if advised for your specific treatment).

Keep the area clean and follow any skincare guidance provided.

Estimated Duration of Results: Skinvive Skin Booster Treatments can take several weeks/months to see results, although skin hydration will be improved in a few days. A single treatment is required with follow-up treatments typically advised 6 to 9 months later.
